Architectural Control
A three member committee is elected every year at the annual meeting to  ensure that new construction and additions conform to our restrictions and preserve our property values.
Landscaping and Common Ground Maintenance
Our lakes and common grounds are a special feature of the neighborhood.

Security
Lakeside and two other subdivisions in the neighborhood have a joint program to provide a limited coverage security patrol by off-duty Sheriff Deputies.

Social Events
Our social committee has a variety of events during the year for both adults and children
Grievance
The Grievance Committee is responsible for resolving problems that arise in the neighborhood.
Newsletter
Newsletters are published quarterly.
Phone Tree
The PhoneTree is an automated telephone messaging system to keep the membership informed on items from meeting announcements to lost pets.
Welcoming
Our Welcoming committee provides information packets to new Lakeside Subdivision residents and collect information for our directory.
Lakeside Directory
The Homeowners' Association publishes a directory of the residents each January
Metro 3 Advisory Committee Member
Lakeside has a regular member of The Metro 3 council. It meets regularly to make recommendations for zoning and other items in Metro 4 district. 
Greater Baton Rouge Civic Association Member
Lakeside maintains a membership in the association share ideas with other associations in the area
